Law School Application Editing
Individualized guidance and editing for personal statements, resumes, and supplemental essays
About
Hi! I'm Hendrix. I graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago, where I studied public policy and urban studies. I scored a 178 on the LSAT, and I was admitted to Yale Law School, Harvard Law School, UChicago Law, UVA Law, NYU Law, UC Berkeley Law, WashU Law, and Cornell Law, among others.
For many of these schools, I was below their LSAC GPA medians, and I attribute much of my success during the application process to my application materials, which highlighted my professional interests and authentic details about my life. Now, I would love to help you create a cohesive, personal narrative about why you would be a strong law student and legal professional.
I have over 8 years of experience editing written work. I began tutoring writing at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, and throughout my college and professional career, I have developed and edited important materials with quick turnarounds, including while interning at the CDC and Goldman Sachs.
I have worked closely with dozens of applicants on personal statements, resumes, supplemental essays, and addenda. I can help you at any stage of the process, from developing your story to polishing final drafts. I offer asynchronous, in-depth written feedback, as well as optional strategy consultations via Google Meet.
The law school application process is expensive. I aim to offer an accessible, affordable option, and I work with a limited number of clients so that my input is as detailed and thoughtful as possible.
